President Bola Tinubu has directed the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, to present a template for a new minimum wage within two days.
Minister Of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said this in Abuja after a federal government delegation on the new minimum wage met with the president, assuring of the president’s readiness to accept the committee’s resolutions, noting that Tinubu is determined to go with what the committee has said, and as well, considering the welfare of Nigerians.
Recall that earlier on Tuesday, the organized labor suspended its nationwide strike which started at midnight on Monday.
