Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos state has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the people’s republic of China in key areas such as renewable energy, healthcare, and education.
Sanwo-olu, who praised China as a valuable partner, whose cooperation has unlocked new potentials in the Sub-Saharan region, cited projects including the Lekki deep seaport, Lekki free trade zone, and Lagos-Ibadan railway as examples of the positive outcomes of the cooperation.
He further noted that the cooperation has enhanced economic capacities, created jobs, and improved the quality of life for thousands of Nigerians.
