The management of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has suspended the customary ‘sign out’ and ‘log out’ celebration activities for final-year students indefinitely following the death of a 400-level student, Hammed Fabiyi.
University Information Officer, Bankole Adegoke, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the step is to ensure safety and maintain a serene and secured environment during the final examinations, while appealing to all students to comply with the new directives in order to ensure a peaceful and conducive learning environment
Recall that Fabiyi was killed by suspected cultists after he was reportedly dragged out of the examination hall while writing his final papers.
