Minister for Works, Dave Umahi, has challenged critics of the Lagos Calabar coastal highway to a public debate, insisting the project will boost Nigeria’s economy.
Umahi spoke at a stakeholders’ engagement, saying construction is progressing on different sections of the highway.
He said the project is estimated to cost four billion naira per kilometer, dismissing claims that it will not be completed.
