The Federal Government has stated that it will not accept any foreign interference in the aftermath of the violence that trailed the #endbadgovernance protests in the country.
Minister of foreign affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, stated this when he met with members of the diplomatic corps in Abuja, warning that the government will not spare anyone funding the protests both from within and outside Nigeria.
He therefore highlighted the government’s effort to enhance socio-economic development, which he said has resulted in a reduction of debt servicing from 97 percent to 68 percent as well as other interventions to ensure food security, job opportunities as well as investments in the country.
