The President of Nigeria’s Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has denied ever making a reckless statement in reaction to the threats by the American President, Donald Trump, to carry out military action against Nigeria over perceived killing of Christians in the country.
Recall that the offending statement was said to have been attributed to Akpabio by a media platform in which the senate president was quoted insulting president trump and asking him to face American challenges.
Special adviser on media and publicity to the president of the senate, Eseme Eyiboh, challenged the media platform to make public the source of its information on where the senate president made the offending statement.
