The federal government says it has commenced engagements with Ethiopian government over the recent visas-on-arrival ban on Nigerians.

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who disclosed this to newsmen during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, explained that the government has called on the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deal with the banning issue.

Recall that Ethiopian government had last week banned visas-on-arrival for Nigerians without giving any reason for its decision.
