The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it will conduct the certification of drivers and vehicles to be used for the forthcoming elections across the country.
FCT sector commander, Oga Ochi gave the disclosure, during an interview with newsmen, stating that the development is in line with the standard operating procedures of elections in Nigeria.
The FCT commander assured that the corps is fully prepared for any emergency before, during and after the elections.
Meanwhile, the Department of State Services (DSS) has also commenced training for its officers in the area of public relations ahead of the 2023 general election.
DSS Spokesperson, Peter Afunanya made this known during a four-day strategic workshop for its state directors of security in Abuja, explain that the workshop is part of the service’s preparedness for the general election.
He however assured that the state service will work with army, police and other law enforcement agencies in order to ensure a free, fair and credible election.
