Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo state has assented to a 485 Billion Naira revised supplementary budget passed by the State House of Assembly.
Okpebholo, while reacting to the speedy passage of the bill thanked the lawmakers, who were at the government house, for presenting the document, saying he believes their action will enable the government to carry out expeditious execution of development plans in the state.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku disclosed that the desire to see the government commence its projects as soon as possible was the reason it speedily passed the bill.
