The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in rivers state has challenged Governor Siminalayi Fubara to account for the 144.2 billion Naira federal allocation received by the state in the last five months.
State chairman of the APC caretaker committee, Tony Okocha questioned Fubara’s management of the state’s resources during a visit to the speaker of the state house of assembly, Martin Amaewhule, urging him to keep a close watch on the governor.
Meanwhile, State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Joseph Johnson, who replied the party due to the report, accused the state leadership of APC for playing politics.
