The United States and Iran have reached a tentative deal to end months of conflict, with a peace agreement expected to be signed in Switzerland on Friday.

The deal provides for a ceasefire, the reopening of the strait of Hormoz, and the lifting of the us naval blockade on Iranian ports.

Pakistan’s prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif, announced the breakthrough, while Donald Trump confirmed the reopening and Iran said further talks on sanctions relief will continue during a 60-day ceasefire period.
