Healthcare workers in Katsina state have issued the state government a 21-day ultimatum to meet their welfare demands or face indefinite strike.
The assembly of healthcare professionals said the ultimatum took effect this Tuesday, following prolonged failure to resolve outstanding issues.
The healthcare workers are also demanding an upward review of other allowances, including call duty, shift duty, clinical and non-clinical among other demands.
