President Bola Tinubu says Nigeria is targeting more than doubling the livestock sector’s estimated 32-billion-dollar annual contribution to the economy.
Tinubu said this at the 9th all Africa conference on animal agriculture in Abuja, where he called for stronger food security and global competitiveness.
Represented by secretary to the government of the federation, George Akume, the president said government is transforming livestock production into a modern, technology-driven and commercially competitive industry.
