Fourteen illegal miners have been killed and eight others seriously injured after a rockfall at a disused mine near Rustenburg, South Africa.
Police said the miners were working underground when the rockfall occurred, with rescue and emergency officials heading to the site.
However, authorities are yet to establish the identities and nationalities of the victims as investigations continue.
