Super Falcons’ Striker Asisat Oshoala has urged Nigeria to secure qualification for the 2027 FIFA women’s world cup and avoid another major setback for Nigerian football.

Recall that the Super Falcons will face South Africa’s Banyana Banyana in a crucial play-off on Thursday, after Nigeria lost 1-0 to Cameroon in the 2026 WAFCON quarter-finals.

However, the match kicks off at 9pm Nigerian time at the Moulay Rachid stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, with Oshoala urging Nigerians to continue supporting the team.
