The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar has commended troops of operation Hadin Kai for rescuing 360 abductees from terrorist captivity in Borno State.
Recall that the victims were freed from the Mandara mountains, a known terrorist enclave, months after they were kidnapped during a Boko Haram attack on a military base in march.
Describing the rescue as a welcome development, Atiku urged security agencies to intensify efforts to secure the release of other Nigerians still held by kidnappers and insurgents.
