Governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to obey the Supreme Court’s interim order on the Naira redesign.
National Chairman of APC, Abdulahi Adamu, who spoke on behalf of other governors during an interview with newsmen, expressed worry as the policy and the implementation of new naira notes are causing difficulties to citizens and the national economy.
Recall that President Buhari had last week directed the CBN to recirculate only the old 200 Naira banknotes, while banning the use of old 500 and 1,000 Naira notes in the country.
