Nurses at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Idi-Aba area of Abeokuta, Ogun state capital have protested against alleged exclusion from the 2023 promotion carried out in the institution.
The nurses, who were seen carrying placards around the premises peacefully under the aegis of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, also expressed displeasure over harsh working conditions.
Chairman of the Association, Olufimilola Adekunle, who spoke to newsmen, said the protest is to ask the management of the hospital to address their promotion arrears, shortage of staff and other rights.
