The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has dismissed reports claiming that upkeep allowance payments under the federal government’s student loan scheme have been suspended.
NELFUND said the document circulating on social media and attributed to its director of strategic communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, is fake and did not originate from the fund.
Nelfund urged the public to ignore the false report, insisting that upkeep payments to eligible students have not been suspended.
