Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited retail outlets have raised petrol prices to about 1,367 Naira per liter following a fresh hike over the weekend.
The increase follows Dangote refinery’s fourth price hike, with its ex-depot price rising to 1,245 Naira per liter, triggering nationwide adjustments.
However, rising crude oil prices, now above about 148,000 Naira per barrel, have driven the surge, with other marketers also increasing pump prices to between 1,367 Naira and 1,440 Naira per liter.
