The trial of activist and politician Omoyele Sowore on alleged defamation charges filed by the department of state services has been adjourned following a disagreement between lawyers for both parties.

Sowore’s counsel requested more time to prepare, saying key court documents were released late, while the DSS opposed the request, describing it as a delay tactic.

The disagreement, however, disrupted proceedings, prompting the court to adjourn the case until a later date.
