The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received 708 stranded Nigerians repatriated from Niamey.
The agency’s head of operations in Kano State, Nura Abdullahi said the returnees, including 292 males and 416 females from several states, arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International airport and are undergoing profiling and verification.
He advised the general public and Nigerian youths to avoid endangering their lives by travelling to seek greener pastures in other countries.
