President of the Nigerian Society for Criminology, Oludayo Tade, has urged president bola Tinubu to intensify efforts to secure the country and protect Nigerians.
Tade said Nigeria’s insecurity crisis has both national and transnational dimensions, following rising cases of kidnapping and the killing of victims despite alleged ransom payments.
He called for stronger action against bandits, kidnappers and terrorists, alongside economic reforms to reduce the drivers of crime.
