No fewer than six persons have lost their lives after a compressed natural gas laden truck exploded around the Karu Bridge in Abuja, while 18 vehicles were burnt.
Corps Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Olusegun Ogungbemide, confirmed the sad news, explaining that the explosion occurred when the driver lost control due to break failure.
He however urged members of the public to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits while driving, especially in high-traffic areas.
