Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has dissolved his cabinet, asking the permanent secretaries to take over affairs of the ministries pending when new commissioners will be inaugurated.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, noting that Bago retained the secretary to the state government, chief of staff, deputy chief of staff, and other principal officers in his office.
Meanwhile, the dissolved cabinet was appointed at the inception of his administration in 2023.
