Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has urged traditional rulers to mobilize their subjects for peaceful and responsible participation in the 2027 general elections.
Abiodun made the call while inaugurating the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, as chairman of the Ogun state council of Obas, urging monarchs to discourage violence, thuggery and hate.
According to Family FM reporter, Bose Akintunde, the governor also presented 60 sports utility vehicles to the monarchs to boost their mobility, while Oba Gbadebo pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle.
