Ogun State Government says it is awaiting Federal Government’s approval for the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta expressway.
Recall that the Minister of Works, David Umahi, had announced in October last year that the federal government concessioned the road to the Ogun State government to reconstruct, following pleas by Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Special Adviser to Governor Abiodun on Media, Kayode Akinmade, speaking on the latest development, said that although there is a presidential approval for the concessioning, but there is no extract from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approving the concessioning, stressing that procedure is not complete without FEC’s extract paper.
