A member of the Ogun state House of Assembly, Honorable Adegoke Awoso, has denied claims by a group of suspended Igbogila chiefs that he interfered in the town’s ongoing Obaship selection.
The lawmaker, who described the allegations as politically motivated and aimed at tarnishing his reputation, said the chiefs were lawfully suspended by the Late Olu of Igbogila, Oba Ebenezer Olanloye, for misconduct, corruption and acts that threatened the community’s stability.
Honorable Awoso, who spoke to journalists at Iwe Iroyin press center, Okelewo, also denied sponsoring recent protests over the Obaship selection.
