Troops of Division1 Nigerian Army and Operation Whirl Punch have neutralized two bandits during a clearance operation in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Acting Deputy Director of the Division, Lieutenant Colonel Musa Yahaya, made this known in a statement, explaining that armed bandits opened fire upon sighting the approaching troops but were overpowered by the troops’ superior and overwhelming firepower.
The troops therefore recovered one ak-47 rifle, three ak-47 rifle magazines, two locally made hand grenades, four handsets, two motorcycles, spanners, screwdrivers among other weapons.
