The Nigerian Army has called for stronger inter-agency collaboration to tackle insurgency, terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and militancy across the country.
The commander of 4 special forces command in Nasarawa State, major general Olurotimi Awolo, made the call while opening the 2026 command operations planning cadre.
Awolo said security threats vary across regions and require specialised training, coordinated operations and improved intelligence sharing among security personnel.
