The Association of Resident Doctors at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, has embarked on a 10-day warning strike over unpaid allowances, manpower shortages, delayed training funds, and poor welfare conditions.

The association also imposed a 50 thousand naira fine on any member who violates the strike directive during the industrial action.

In a communiqué signed by the president of the association, Dr John Omotoso, the resident doctors expressed concern over the state government’s failure to implement and settle revised allowances and outstanding arrears.
