Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has pledged to deliver the 50 kilometer Port Harcourt ring road by October this year.
He gave the assurance after inspecting the project, noting that the road, which cuts across five local government areas, is designed to ease traffic in Port Harcourt and nearby communities, stating that contractor Julius Berger has reaffirmed its readiness to meet the deadline.
Fubara said his administration will ensure steady funding to keep the project on track, describing it as a key priority for the state.
