Operatives of the Osun state police command has arrested a 63-year-old man, Lukman Adejoju for the killing his 100-year-old mother over palm oil sales.
State Police Spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the sad news to newsmen, revealing that the suspect and his mother were both going to the farm when the quarrel started and pushed his mother, which resulted to her death.
Opalola further stated that the suspect has been transferred to the command’s headquarters in Osogbo for further investigation.
