The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has arraigned a Lagos-based trader, Chidera Chukwuka, before the federal high court in Lagos over alleged possession, manufacture, distribution, and display of unwholesome alcoholic products.

The 30-year-old was docked before justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa on a six-count charge involving the alleged production and sale of counterfeit drinks.

Prosecuting counsel, Isa Ali, told the court that a six-count charge has been filed and urged that it be read to the defendant for plea.
