The Nigerian Government, through the ministry of education, has announced the return of history to the curriculum.
Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, made this known during an interview with newsmen, adding that he lacked the explanation to how people with their right minds will ban history from being taught in schools.
The Minister further noted that activities of some schools whereby they extort from parents through the sale of textbooks and graduation ceremonies for nursery school have been banned
