A combined team of the police and army have neutralized a five-member gang of unknown gunmen in Anambra state.
State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Ttochukwu, who confirmed the attack, disclosed that a vehicle, AK47 rifles, charms and other items were recovered from the gunmen.
Ikenga also revealed that the gang stormed the police headquarters shooting indiscriminately in an attempt to gain entrance to the station but met heavy resistance from police officers attached to the station.
