President Bola Tinubu has hailed the Nigerian navy for eliminating piracy in the nation’s waters and significantly curbing crude oil theft.
Speaking at the launch of the Nigerian navy international fleet review in Lagos, the president praised the force’s contribution to maritime security and national economic stability.
However, the event marked the flagship celebration of the navy’s 70th anniversary, with Tinubu commending its modern operational capabilities and role in protecting coastal communities.
